About Us
I am a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). I qualified with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and have since worked in a number of organisations including JPMorgan, Barclays Global Investors and BlackRock in a number of roles including senior accountant and finance leader, management consultant and most recently as the Managing Director of a consulting company.
I understand what it is like to run a business and why it is important for you to have the right finance support to help you run yours. I’m looking to bring that experience and knowledge to support my clients in a straightforward and practical way.
Dominic Charles (FCA)
I also understand the importance of having someone there when you need help and so I will be available when you need me.
When I am not supporting my clients I am also a keen cyclist, occasional golfer and walker with our dogs.
Why the name VOR?
My mother was Swedish and so I wanted to reflect a little of my Scandinavian heritage. Vör is a goddess associated with wisdom (she has been referred to as "wise and inquiring, so that nothing can be concealed”) and I am keen to have this as an underlying principle of how I operate; wisdom and curiosity to make sure I do the best I can for you.
Key aspects of how I operate are listening, understanding and then acting whilst keeping you informed along the way.
VOR is a member practice of the ICAEW and is supervised by them for anti-money laundering regulation.
